How big should my carport be?
It depends on your vehicles and how you use the space. We allow room to open doors and walk around comfortably, and measure your cars, boat or caravan at the site visit.
Can a carport be attached to my house?
Yes. Carports can attach to your fascia or wall, or stand on their own posts. We look at your driveway and roofline to recommend the best option.
What roof styles are available for carports?
Flat, skillion, gable and hip roofs are all available, in a wide range of COLORBOND steel colours.
Do I need council approval?
Most patios need a building permit, and some properties also need planning approval. We prepare the drawings and engineering and lodge everything for you.
How long does it take?
As a guide, allow about 2 weeks for drafting and engineering, around 4 weeks for the building permit (up to 3 months if planning approval is needed) and 2 to 4 weeks for materials to be made. We give you a timeline for your property when we quote.
