Our aluminium louver pergolas give you a roof you can actually adjust. Tilt the blades open to let the winter sun in and the breeze through, angle them to cut the afternoon glare, or close them right down when a shower rolls in off the coast.
Unlike a fixed patio roof, you choose how the space feels hour by hour. It's a premium, architectural look that suits modern homes, pool areas and entertaining spaces, and it can stand on its own in the yard or attach to the house.
Bunbury Patios handles the lot: site measure, layout advice, approvals where required, footings and a clean professional install.

Marine-grade 6063-T5 aluminium with a double-layer powder coat. No rust, no repainting, and backed by a 10-year structural warranty.

Louver Pergola Questions
What's the difference between a louver pergola and a standard patio?
A standard patio has a fixed roof. Our louver pergolas are an all-aluminium system with blades you can open and close, plus motorisation, integrated lighting and clip-on screens and walls. We're happy to talk you through which suits your home.
Will it keep the rain out?
Yes. When closed, the louvres overlap and channel water into gutters built into the frame, which drain down through the posts. In very heavy rain or high winds we recommend closing the roof fully.
Can it handle coastal wind and salt air?
The frames are engineer-certified to Australian wind loading standards and made from powder-coated aluminium, which won't rust. We'll confirm the right model and fixing method for your site's wind conditions.
What sizes are available?
Seven standard sizes from 3 × 3 m up to 4 × 6 m. For larger areas, units can be joined side by side for a seamless result.
Do I need council approval?
It depends on your council, block and the size and position of the pergola. We'll check the requirements during your site visit and handle any approvals needed.
Can I control it from my phone?
The motorised models can be operated by remote, a smartphone app over Bluetooth, or connected to a smart home system.
